COACHING PASSES

Good afternoon Coaches and Coordinators,
It has come to the board's attention that there is a lot of confusion regarding coach passes.
While NYSWYSA is no longer requiring coaches to possess a coach's pass. this league finds that determination does not fit to our standard of safe play. Therefore we require that ALL coaches and players need to present a pass to the official prior to the game starting. If a pass is unattainable, a CURRENT copy of the Risk Management certification will be required, but this should be a last resort. Failure to display these documents makes the coach/player ineligible, and can result in a forfeit if that is the only coach available.
This for the safety of the kids, therefore is not taken lightly.
